SITE MANAGER – Full Time 37 hours per week, start time 7.00 am finish time 6.00 pm with a split shift (timings to be negotiated).

Cage Green Primary School is a two form entry school set in lovely grounds in a residential area of Tonbridge and we pride ourselves on our friendly and welcoming environment.

Our long-standing site manager will be leaving us shortly, and we are now looking for an exceptional individual to continue the work that he has put into the school.

The successful candidate will carry out caretaking and general maintenance duties across the School, including the co-ordination of facilities and setting up for School events, assisting with the School’s planned maintenance programme, and generally ensuring that the environment at Cage Green is maintained to a very high standard.   They will have previous experience of working in a similar position, must hold a valid driving licence and be prepared to undertake training.

In addition to your practical skills, we are looking for someone with a positive, “can do”, attitude, who appreciates that no one day will be quite like another, and can be flexible enough to deal with this.   A great sense of humour is a must!

We know that we are asking a lot, but in return you will be joining a school which has recently become part of Connect Schools Academy Trust.   As a Trust, we know that our staff are our greatest asset, and you will be joining a supportive organisation where your efforts will be properly appreciated.

Cage Green Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS clearance.
