What would you like to talk about?

Our aim is to address and resolve any issues that you may have as promptly and efficiently as possible. 

I am worried about a child’s safety

In the first instance, all of our Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and  Assistant Headteachers are  Designated Safeguarding Officers and so can deal with your concerns.    Our Deputy Headteacher,  Claire Ellis has overall responsibility.  If you have a concern, please contact the school office in the first instance (01732 354325).  Miss Baillieu and Mrs Houghton in the school office will be sure to direct you concern appropriately.  

I want to talk about my child

Always talk to the class teacher first about any issues or concerns.  If you are not satisfied with the manner in which it has been dealt with, the matter can be referred to the Assistant Headteachers or Deputy Headteacher.  Please contact the office who will direct your complaint that the matter hasn't been dealt with adequately to the right person.  

Matters should always be referred to class teachers first.  This is because class teachers know your child best and are the best people to sort issues. If there has been a misunderstanding, it is fair to allow a person to sort that out before making a complaint. The issue may be referred to Mrs Ellis our Deputy Headteacher, or Mrs Clarke or Mrs Maher, our Assistant Headteachers.  

Miss Baillieu and Mrs Houghton in the school office will be sure to direct your concern appropriately. 

I am not sure who I need to speak to

The office team is always happy to help with a general enquiry including school meals, admissions, and any other day to day matters.  If they cannot help themselves, they will be able to point you in the right direction to resolve any issue. 

If you are still not happy

Although we hope these occasions will be rare, If you are unhappy with the way in which the class teacher or Deputy/Assistant Head has dealt with your concerns, Joanna Styles, Headteacher is available.
